We often look at technology as if it were an impossible mountain<\/strong>; believe me, I hear it quite often. It seems like a summit reserved only for a select few who speak in code with ones and zeros. But the reality is much more human and accessible. Because technology, contrary to appearances, is nothing more than accessibility<\/strong>. Furthermore, it's not a destination to rush to; it's a landscape to be explored<\/strong>, and the healthiest approach is to do so little by little<\/strong>, without haste and without fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it's worth remembering something we almost never tell ourselves: nobody arrives knowing everything<\/strong>. The people who navigate applications and systems with ease today started out, without exception, just as lost as you might feel right now. The difference wasn't talent or a secret skill reserved for a select few, but rather the permission they gave themselves to make mistakes<\/strong> without punishing themselves for them. Learning technology is more like learning to cook than passing an exam: you progress by trying<\/strong>, burning the occasional chicken, overcooking the rice, and trying again<\/strong>, until one day you discover that what used to paralyze you now becomes almost effortless<\/strong>. Isn't that how it all is?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There's no single path<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There's no \"one-size-fits-all\" manual for navigating the digital world. The beauty lies in finding the path that makes you feel most confident:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • For some, the gateway is current events<\/strong>, understanding how innovation shapes our present and deciding, right then and there, to try it out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • For others, the fascination stems from history<\/strong>, understanding the evolution of the tools<\/strong> that have brought us to this point. Because all software started out \"ugly\" and has evolved over time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • There are those who need to \"touch\" things<\/strong>, experiment, make mistakes, and learn practically<\/strong>. To dedicate endless hours to it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • And for the vast majority of us, let's be honest, our first technological love was born with a controller in our hand and a video game<\/strong> on the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    We all have a \"first encounter.\" Nobody is born knowing everything.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And that first encounter is usually never elegant. We tend to start tentatively, pressing buttons without really knowing what they do, closing windows we don't understand, and repeating the same step three times until something clicks. That's okay. That initial clumsiness <\/strong>isn't a sign that \"this isn't for you\"; it's simply how we learn anything new<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you understand the law, you understand logic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    And if there's one group that should be convinced of this, it's ours, the legal profession. Think about it for a moment: a lawyer is able to hold the entire structure of a law in their mind,<\/strong> to almost memorize the article and what it says, to fit together facts, rules, and exceptions until they construct an argument that holds up from beginning to end. That, at its core, is an exercise in pure logic<\/strong>. And yet, many of these same brilliant legal professionals get nervous<\/strong> when they have to approach a screen and configure a new tool.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It seems almost paradoxical, but it has a simple explanation: we confuse the unknown with the difficult. <\/strong>Technology, like the law, is not an incomprehensible wall of magic; it is a system with its own internal logic<\/strong>. It has rules, it has a structure, it has a reason <\/strong>behind every step. What happens is that, at first, this logic is unfamiliar to us, and we disguise this lack of familiarity as incapacity. But it is exactly the same muscle you already train when you interpret a law: observing, understanding the rule, and anticipating the consequence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    That's why I like to say that learning technology isn't starting from scratch<\/strong>, but rather transferring something you already know how to do to another field. The moment you discover the underlying logic\u2014why this button is here, what the program expects from you, what happens if you press that\u2014 the fear deflates,<\/strong> and everything suddenly makes sense<\/strong>. Just like when a law that seemed like gibberish finally clicks into place and you wonder how it ever seemed so complicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Your pace is right<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    We tend to measure our progress by comparing ourselves<\/strong> to those who have been doing this for years, and we almost always come up short in that comparison. But learning technology isn't a race with a single winner. There's no age limit, no ideal time, and no minimum skill level<\/strong> to start. Some people dedicate fifteen minutes a day, while others immerse themselves for hours; both get there, just by different paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The only thing that truly sustains this learning is curiosity<\/strong>. One small step today, another tomorrow<\/strong>, and after a few weeks you discover that you're naturally handling something that at first seemed unattainable. You don't need to understand everything at once; you need to allow yourself not to understand it yet<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The only wall to silence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    However, on this learning journey, there's only one background noise we must silence<\/strong>. It's those three terrible words: \"You can't\"<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    That phrase is the only real barrier <\/strong>that exists both in the technological world and in life itself. If we think about it, it's not a technical barrier, nor a barrier of ability; it's only a mental barrier<\/strong>. It's an invisible wall that does nothing but stifle your own development and evolution, something that, in essence, is wonderful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Almost always, that \"You can't\" isn't even ours: we've inherited it from someone else's comment, a bad experience,<\/strong> or the rush to compare ourselves to others. Recognizing it is already half the battle. The other half consists of responding with a very simple gesture: trying anyway.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I understand technology as an extension of human creativity.<\/strong> Don't let fear or anyone else's opinion keep you away from it. Find your own rhythm<\/strong>, find your own space, choose your entry point, and above all, remember that the only validation you need to begin is your own curiosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
