I took part as a speaker in the webinar of the Youth Committee of ENATIC, devoted to the launch of European AI governance. I analysed the CADA — Cloud and AI Development Act: a rule that, behind a technical appearance about data centres, conceals an underlying question — who really holds the key to Europe's data. A debate that stopped being theoretical the day several artificial-intelligence models were switched off for all users outside the United States —European allies included— by an order of their Government.
